That’s why we offer a pre-ordering system to help you secure the exact boat you’ve been dreaming of, without the stress of hunting for it during peak season. Here’s how it works and why pre-ordering with us is the best way to ensure you get exactly what you want.
Pre-ordering your boat from Frontenac Outfitters offers several key advantages:
Pre-ordering your canoe, kayak, or SUP is a flexible process at Frontenac Outfitters. Here’s how it works:
1. Select Your Boat: Browse our collection online or in-store. For advice, our team is here to help, and you may test-paddle similar models (season-dependent).
2. Order Options: On select models, pre-orders can now be made directly through our website. If unavailable, contact us to finalize your order. You can call us at (613) 376-6220 or email us at info@frontenacoutfitters.com.
3. Reserve with a Deposit: A refundable or transferable deposit secures your boat.
4. Pick Up or Delivery: Once ready, pick it up at our store or arrange delivery to your location, if available.
We understand that timing is important, especially when planning for the paddling season. Here’s what you can expect:
Depending on the manufacturer, pre-ordering a boat can take anywhere from a few weeks to a few months. We’ll provide you with an estimated delivery time at the time of your order.
Pre-ordering in the fall or winter is the best way to ensure your boat is ready for the start of the paddling season. However, we accept pre-orders year-round, and we’ll do our best to meet your desired timeline.
If you’re ordering a custom or specialized boat, please note that these may have longer lead times and your deposit may not be refundable. We’ll communicate all timing & deposit details with you upfront.
We understand that circumstances can change. If you need to modify or cancel your pre-order, please contact us as soon as possible. In most cases, your deposit is fully refundable if you decide to cancel.
Your satisfaction is our priority. If your boat arrives and it’s not what you expected, we’ll work with you to resolve any issues, including returns or exchanges when possible.
Many of our paddlecrafts can be pre-ordered directly from their product page. If you know what you want, you can simply find the canoe, kayak or SUP on our website and if it's available for pre-order you will see an option to place your order. Simply follow the instructions to get your boat on order.
