The Tarpon 130x kayak has a relatively narrow bean for a fishing kayak making it a better option for small- to medium-sized paddlers weighing between 120 lbs – 190 lbs, but the 16" depth improves capacity above the optimal paddler weight. At 13', the Tarpon 130x offers a good balance of tracking and maneuverability, while the degree of rocker and flare in the bow improve handling when paddling into waves. Similar to the ATAK 120, a second transducer scupper hole is included for even further electronic capabilities, and the multi-chined hull ofers maximum stability giving you confidence in all conditions.

The Tarpon 130x kayak also includes the newly designed AirPro Lite seat with improved slide-on-track system for increased forward & aft trimming. Four pre-installed slide trax come standard providing multiple mounting points for add-on accessories to help improve your catch out on the water. A rectangular stern hatch makes it easy to place a milk crate for storage or Wilderness Systems Kayak Krate that includes four rod holders and storage area with dividers.

The large bow hatch provides dry storage for equipment, and a front hatch and centre hatch offers even more internal storage for whatever you need. Built like a battle tank, the Tarpon 130X kayak is built with Gen2 polyethylene technology making this kayak exceptionally durable. It hull is shatterproof and offers incredible impact resistance and overall toughness. While this approach adds to the weight of the kayak, this is easily negated by adding a Kayak Cart to your arsenal.
