Weighing just 30 ounces, the Sting Ray Hybrid is the lightest flatwater injected-molded kayak paddle available at its price point. Its redesigned, stronger blade shape provides a smoother forward stroke with less flutter, a stiffer feel, and quieter entry and exit. The upgraded fiberglass and nylon blade material is thicker and stronger, offering less flex and greater durability for long-term use. The fiberglass-reinforced nylon blades are designed to offer forgiveness and the right amount of flex, helping the kayak move efficiently even with extra gear. With a 92.5 sq. inch blade, the Sting Ray Hybrid strikes the perfect balance of efficiency, providing enough torque to maneuver the kayak without causing excessive fatigue. The traditional mid-sized or slender blade design is ideal for low-angle paddlers, offering a relaxed, horizontal stroke. The carefully engineered blade shape slices smoothly through the water, reducing fatigue caused by wind resistance. A sharp dihedral ensures a silky-smooth stroke with zero flutter, conserving energy for longer trips.
