Our rental kayaks are built to the highest quality and well-maintained, so you're given a clean boat that is easy and enjoyable to paddle! We can set you up with the perfect recreation or sea kayak for your adventure!

Frontenac Outfitters takes quality rentals to the next level by offering kayaks constructed from innovative thermoform and rotomolded materials. This means a lighter boat that's faster and more enjoyable to paddle.

While you're here, at your request, our staff are happy to:

• Demonstrate how to strap down your kayak(s) correctly on your vehicle. You do not need to have a roof rack, we can provide you with the equipment.  Please note most vehicles can only take TWO Touring Style OR ONE Recreational style on a vehicle at a time
• Offer paddling advice, such as how to launch your kayak & stroke techniques
• Explain the uses of any gear items
• Give you tips on how to avoid damage to the kayak
• Provide recommendations for paddling routes, scenic views, and trip planning

Although we do all we can to set you up for a memorable time on the water, you are entirely responsible for your actions and the care for our kayak(s) and gear. So please, take care and paddle safely!

Delta Kayaks 15.5GT

A performance-oriented day touring kayak geared towards larger paddlers in the 170 lbs – 250 lbs range. A great choice for big paddlers who don’t want to sacrifice fit for functionality.

Delta Kayaks 15s

Confidence inspiring for small- to medium-sized paddlers in the 115 lbs – 175 lbs range. The low profile and narrower beam offers a proper fit with an efficient design appreciated by paddlers at all skill levels.

Delta Kayaks 16

One of the most popular models, the Delta 16 is ideal for medium- to large-sized paddlers in the 140 lbs – 240 lbs range. Predictable and efficient, perfect for beginners and the preferred choice by skilled paddlers.

Delta Kayaks 17

The fastest kayak in Delta’s Performance Touring line, the 17 is the most efficient and best tracking boat in our rental fleet. Great for larger paddlers in the 170 lbs to 250 lbs range.

Here's what you NEED to know

Rates: Prices are per calendar day. An overnight rental counts as a two-day rental. 13% HST tax is extra; prices are subject to change without notice.

No Specific Paddle Craft Reservations: Specific vessels or weights can not be reserved in advance. At the time of rental pick-up, we can try and provide you with the lightest boat available upon request.

Pick-up and Return Hours: Pick-up and drop-off times are during open store hours (9 am - 5 pm).

Payment:  Cash, Debit, Visa, Master Card or e-transfer in full upon pick-up. 50% payment is required at time of booking.

Security Deposit: A credit card will be kept on file for the duration of your rental period. A signed 'open-end' Visa or Master Card damage deposit at the time of rental pick-up.

Damages & Lost Equipment: At our discretion, the 'Renter' is charged for repairs & depreciation. Lost, stolen, or badly damaged equipment is charged at our discretion.

Liability Wavier: As paddling involves inherent risk, all renters over 18 years must sign a liability waiver release as 'You' are responsible for your safety & actions.

Walk-In's are welcome, but we cannot guarantee availability. Reservations are always recommended. 

IMPORTANT NOTES: Reservations are NOT accepted by e-mail, and we do NOT rent for whitewater.

Reservation Cancellations & Early Return Policy

• Reservation cancellations require 3 days notice (72 hours)
• More than three kayaks will require 7 Days notice
• No refund for early returns
• Without the required notification of a cancellation, we will have to charge 50% of the changes made to your reservation. ie. removing a day, boat, or cancelling all together.

Kayak Rental Delivery & Pick-up

We're great at safely getting boats on top of vehicles. So we have no issues helping you and equipping you with what you need to get your rental to the shoreline.
