Pulse SUP Mandala 11' SUP Review
The Mandala 11' from Pulse SUP is a great board for beginner and intermediate riders by combining a performance-oriented hull shape with user-friendly specs. At 35" wide with a 4.75" depth, paddlers are offered a super stable platform and a wide fit range between 100 lbs - 200 lbs; the stability also allows the board to be used for yoga, fitness, and even fishing!
The Mandala 11' is designed with a concave hull for efficient transference of water beneath the board as you paddle. The exaggerated tail rocker and rounded shape reduces drag making for decent speed and glide for a planing-style SUP. Depending on whether playing in the waves or flat-water cruising, riders are also given the option to set-up the board with the single, centre fin only or to include the side thruster fins as well
Constructed from sandwiched fiberglass laminates and EPS foam core, the Mandala 11' utilizes Pulse SUP's layering technique for excellent impact resistance and durability. This makes it great for guests at the cottage or for those with kids, and despite the additional layers, the board remains light and easily managed in and out of the water and on and off your vehicle.
