Video Review
The original New Brunswick's Chestnut Canoe Co. created Prospector 16 in 1910. A century later the Prospector 16/4's design is still widely considered the most versatile tripping canoe ever - H2O Canoe Company Prospector 16/4 resemble its namesake replicating the original design's magic.
The H2O Prospector 16/4 is mid-sized boat in the family that also includes the shorter Prospector 15/4 and larger Prospector 17/6. Maneuverable yet predictable under all loads and conditions, paddled solo or tandem, H2O's Prospector series of canoes are true Canadian classics.
It combines a symmetrical shape with a semi-arched, keeless hull and moderate rocker to create an exceptionally responsive canoe. Sharp entry lines help slice through large waves, while semi tumble-homed sides help shed water away from the paddler.
"Looking for a do-everything-well canoe - day, week, kids, dog, solo, tandem, flat-water, or whitewater? The the H2O Canoe Company Prospector 16/4 covers all the bases!"
