H2O Canoe Company Horizon 17 Canoe Review
The H2O Canoe Company Horizon 17 is the second largest member of their asymmetrical canoe series, which also includes the big Boundary 17/6 and popular Paramount 16/6.
Designed to excel on large windswept lakes, the H2O Horizon 17 retains capacity to easily handle extended wilderness outings when packed correctly. This type of paddling requires a fast, nimble and seaworthy craft built with industry leading technology and innovation.
It's keeless, shallow arched hull is perfect for experienced paddlers who want a canoe to match their advanced skills. It’s also a great choice for novices seeking a fast, inspiring canoe they won’t soon outgrow.
The Horizon 17 features a slender asymmetrical shape and minimal rocker to maximize waterline length and create an extremely efficient, flat-water racehorse - its low sheer line reduces the effect of crosswinds, while its narrow flared bow effectively sheds water and aids tracking.
“The H2O Canoe Company Horizon 17 in the pro-lite series clearly showcases cutting edge canoe building technology at its finest!"
