Although it’s not necessary, you can call ahead and set up a test paddle with us. If you do, we can be better prepared with the paddle craft(s) ready for you to test paddle.
When you arrive at Frontenac Outfitters and express interest in a paddle craft, we’ll invite you to take it for a test paddle. If we don’t mention it first, simply let one of our staff know you’re interested in test paddling. No worries if you’re comparing models; you can test paddle several until you find the right match.

Our test paddles take place at the serene Pearkes Lake, just a 5-minute walk from our shop. Don’t be confused by the sign reading “Elbow Lake” – every map confirms it’s Pearkes Lake.
