Suddenly, the snow hitting you in the face is salt and sand from that tropical, crystal blue water beach you’re lounging by in your hammock. Suddenly, the next 5,000-foot summit push doesn’t seem so hard. Protein logging in at 19 grams per serving, this meal is definitely high protein and hearty, so you’ll have the energy and high-quality meal you need. It’s also gluten-free and like all of our gluten-free meals, it’s tested to 20 ppm so you won’t be left wondering if you’re getting only the good stuff. Long grain brown rice, black beans, all-natural white meat chicken and veggies are wrapped in a fiery blanket of Jamaican Jerk Barbecue sauce, with just a hint of sweetness to cool your fire. This long-lasting meal is freeze-dried goodness with the convenient preparation of simply adding 2 cups of boiling water and waiting 20 minutes (while you stick it in your shirt, so you stay warm while waiting!).

PREPARATION & STORAGE
Remove and discard enclosed oxygen absorber before beginning food preparation. Add 2 cups (480 mL) of boiling water. Stir well. Close and let sit for 15-20 minutes. Stir and serve. Best By Date on packaging is 10 years from manufacturing date.
